First time to Gibby’s and it did not disappoint! We arrived and were promptly greeted by the host and advised it shouldn’t be long for a table, and it wasn’t we maybe waited 10-15 minutes at most. The cheesy biscuits are on point and super scrumptious. The chicken fried chicken tastes like my Mom’s and that’s the highest compliment I could give it, super tasty! These hush puppies aren’t your Long John Silver variety they are far better and have a little kick to them. The service from our waitress was great and she took good care of us. I can’t wait to come back and try something new. Highly recommended!

WOW!! I had reservations and had to change them last minute and Gibby was very accommodating. We were greeted with a smile in a cozy and fun New Orleans themed atmosphere. All employees had a great attitude and awesome personalities! All the good was delicious and perfectly spiced! The catfish breading was crisp to perfection as well!!

This was our second visit, so I decided to review the restaurant. I had the Voodoo Chicken and it was fantastic! The Boudin balls are great as well and are different from any I've ever had, as they have pulled pork in them. My wife had the shrimp and she loves them. The bread they bring out is tasty and different than most, with a cheddar garlic bread kind of taste. Highly recommend this restaurant if you're ever in the area.

We really enjoyed it. My family thought it was very good. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try. The waitress was on the ball. The food came out hot and quick. The owner greeted people at their tables. Two thumbs up. It reminds me of restaurants from New Orleans. You need to give this one a try if you like Cajun style food.

The cheesy biscuits were delicious 😋I got a burger and it was huge, cooked exactly as I ordered it. My friend got the Catfish Po Boy and couldn't stop raving about the sauces and the quality of the fish.Fried zucchini was nice as well. Our server did an amazing job.A warm and comfortable place to enjoy good food. Highly recommend.

First time Gibby's, while in town for football. Very impressed by this restaurant. All their Seafood is flown in every three days from the gulf and oysters come from the East Coast! We had a variety of plates, from grilled shrimp and catfish to the Cajun Chicken pasta. All the food was delicious!! Good luck not filling up on the rolls.....they are to die for.5 stars all around and highly recommend Gibby's to anyone looking for great Cajun seafood. We will definitely be back.

The food was wonderful and there was lots of it! You won't leave hungry, guaranteed!Pictures are of fried pickles, raw oysters, and frog legs and gator. First time I've ever had gator that wasn't swampy/fishy tasting! Same for the frog legs which were huge!! Both were tender and full of flavor. The drink is a "Cajun Storm" which my lunch mate enjoyed.Everything was home cooked and fresh! The prices are reasonable for the type and amount of food you get.The service was excellent! Thanks so much Lexi for a comfortable and fun dining experience and the great service!! The staff is friendly, and they all work hard at making you feel at home. They check on you and ask if everything is ok, if you need anything, is your food ok? You'll feel welcome and comfortable. The decor is great and you'll feel like you're in New Orleans. Soft jazz playing in the background, low, comfortable lighting with colorful feathers and beads on the chandeliers, with other French Quarter type Paintings and decorations. Simply, a great atmosphere. Why drive to New Orleans or Tulsa when you can get it right here? Do yourself a favor and try Gibby's South in Your Mouth restaurant. You won't regret it.

My wife and I had an amazing time dining in for lunch. The service was a little slow and could have used maybe one more server. We had the Voodoo Chicken with a side of gumbo and the bayou Grits. Both of them tasted spectacular. Needless to say we will be back.

We made reservations Saturday before mother’s Day. I brought my mom and niece here. The service was great. The food was even better. We all enjoyed our visit and I can’t wait to go back to try something else. I had the lunch chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and okra. It was all perfectly cooked and homemade, perfect portions. My mother had the chicken fried chicken and my niece had a burger and fries. They both enjoyed it. Carla came by to check on us and make sure we were happy with our meal. You just can’t beat this home cooking, especially for the price! We will be back.

First time there, and we're gonna have to go back! The starter biscuits were 2x the size of the ones at Red Lobster, 2x the amount along butter, and 2x more delicious than the ones at Red Lobster! The unknown Cajun spices at the table made it perfect! 11/10We ordered the swamp fries as our appetizer, and knowing we were going to get a big lunch, we went for the half portion. Lord-a-mercy I don't think it's half! It was delicious though. 12/10For our entries, I ordered the 1/2lb gator basket and my Pa ordered the gator po boy. These meals were so delicious. The gator was breaded and seasoned perfectly. It's a shame we didn't finish it all, but it was delicious. 10/10For our desert, we ordered the Beignets and they were alright. The powdered sugar was really good, but the only issue is that they were a bit over-cooked. A side of maple syrup would do these in just perfectly. 8/10If you like the Southern style cooking of Louisiana and you're in the middle of Claremore, Oklahoma, definitely stop by Gibby's for a bite to eat!

We went here for the first time two weeks ago and loved it so much we went the next day and again last night 😋 Is so good y'all. 💯 First time my husband got the shrimp and crawfish Etoufee and I got the southern fried catfish. Both were amazing but I had to come back the next day for my own Etoufee 😋 OMW! So good and spicy. My husband got the Swamp Fries and we loved them too. You get a big complimentary cheesy biscuit drizzled with garlic butter. Yeah! Ahhhhmazing ❤️😋 Last night my husband got the Gator Po Boy and loved it, I had a bite and loved it too. I got the Bourbon Burger and it didn't disappoint, no surprise there. He had a side of delicious gumbo and I had fantastic green fried tomatoes. The staff is just so warm and treat you like family. I just loved Haley last night. 😍 We highly recommend coming here. I can't wait to see what else we try. BTW the steaks look amazing, maybe that 😉👍 I'll continue to update with pics as we go. Stay tuned 👋

Ok, so they were very busy, we waited a little over an hour to be seated. We never wait for restaurants, but really wanted to try this one. No big deal, went down a couple doors to Cabin Boys Brewery and had a beer and a smoke. Had a great waitress, very attentive. Ordered some drinks, waitress brought out some garlic biscuits, which were very good, ordered some charbroiled oysters and Boudin Balls. Oysters were WAY overcooked (not charbroiled, more like baked), Boudin Balls were good, however they were cold in the middle. Ordered out meals, Shrimp and Grits which my wife really liked. I ordered Some catfish (Cajun) with shrimp and oysters and lump crab on top, not terrible but not spectacular either. Probably won't be going back anytime soon, but go and make up your own mind. Nice option for NE Oklahoma..They had what I came there for, but was not on the menu, it was on a small chalkboard bye the check in counter, (Crawfish), the waitress never mentioned the specials... SADLY....

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Gibby C's yesterday, and it was nothing short of spectacular! The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who made us feel like special. We enjoyed the amazing bayou grits, which were cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. And let's talk about dessert! The carrot cake was a true masterpiece, with layers of moist cake, creamy frosting, and just the right amount of spice. It was the perfect sweet ending to a memorable meal.Overall, our experience at Gibby C's was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of top-notch service and delectable food, made it the ideal place to celebrate our special day. We can't wait to return for another unforgettable dining experience!

I'm born and raised in the south, so I'm naturally pretty picky when it comes to anyone claiming to serve southern cooking. So let me just end the suspense, Gibbys definitely gets my stamp of approval! I absolutely loved everything I had the opportunity to try on my visit. The catfish, shrimp, and gator were all delicious. However, the grits may have been the highlight of the meal. Not only did they taste great, but they were cooked to the perfect creamy texture. A true rare feat outside of the south! My only complaint is really just a wishlist item on my part, but I would love to see what they could do with some collard greens!***Update***Gibby responded to my original post and suggested I come on a Sunday for more options on southern dishes. I recently went on a Sunday and she didn't disappoint!!! The collard greens were amazing and the cornbread was absolutely delicious. I also had the sweet potatoes were right up there as well as far as quality. And again the service was top notch. I wish I could give them more stars as they definitely deserve it!!!

One of the best restaurants I've been to in Oklahoma since I've been back(prolly 6 yrs), not that I've been a ton of places, but I move around a lil..Wierd thing is, I didn't think I was this big of fan of style of food. I've been several times, and can confirm. The Voodoo Chicken is DIVINE. YES, I've had the Gator, frog legs, crab stack and several others but, VDC is my first 😍 love..I'm not even gonna attemp to describe the atmosphere and attitude of the staff, it's like being served by the favorite members of your family.. No BS..There is ALOT more I could say, but I'm not. But I will say, if you ain't been, your missing out... Don't forget to check out the bar!!! Peach Long Island.. Trust me

Y'all gotta go!! I've never been to Louisiana or the Bayou, but l felt like l might have just visited there. The food was so delish, and the service was spectacular. The fried gator, catfish, meat pie...all of it was spot on!

Such a welcome addition to Claremore! We had red beans and rice, gumbo, and a shrimp po’boy. Everything came out hot and delicious. The giant garlic butter biscuits were a great way to start! Our waitress was fun and personable and helped us decide our order. We will be back soon!

We came in for lunch and we were immediately seated. They brought out biscuits with butter and herb topping which tasted great, but I will say the biscuit was a little dense for what I think of for pre-meal bread but would be fantastic with gravy and sausage on them. I ordered the half order of Voodoo Chicken which I enjoyed. The chicken was hand breaded which gave a nice texture and the sauce brought a nice flavor. I would have enjoyed a little more heat to it, but it was my first time and I wanted a "clean" first taste on it. The shrimp was properly cooked. They do provide a creole seasoning and hot sauce on the table. I got extra hush puppies to share with my wife and I liked the texture and flavor. The cheese grits I thought were solid but maybe over garnished with green onion for my taste. My daughter's burger and fries were great and a nice fry sauce was served with it. My wife had the shrimp and grits and enjoyed them. We all took food home, so definitely a nice portion size. We also got beignets and they had a good crispy outside with a wonderful flavor and texture on the inside. We will return for sure.

Honestly was the best food I’ve had since moving to Oklahoma 2.5 years ago. The waitress and other staff were incredibly friendly, especially to my kids. We felt welcomed and loved our food. We took home leftovers and ate the rest for dinner that night. So worth it and we’ll be back!
