The architecture in this famous restaurant is so unique and gorgeous but I think you can appreciate it more during the day time compared to at night. It’s like an enclosed jungle. We enjoyed everything that we ordered except for the tacos since the sauce was too sweet for our liking. It’s worth dining at the MIST for the experience and picture takings.

On a Saturday afternoon at 2, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the place was relatively empty. Their helpful personnel deserves praise. The cuisine is delicious, and the portions are generous enough to be shared. There wasn't anything particularly memorable about the food's flavor that I can recall.

We enjoyed our dinner there. We were so full and almost not able to finish as they have large servings of food. Totally worth it. The ambience is so instagrammable.

Based on other reviews, I expected larger meal portions and better taste. The food is good, not great as told. Also, more expensive then told as well. It's definitely worth the experience if in the area. I wouldn't travel 30 minutes to an hour to get there, wait until you're in the area.

This place looks like it was a setting from Ghibli made to life. You come here for the eccentric interiors of the place. Unfortunately, you will need to wait for an hour or more to get seated during peak hours. The staff were nice enough to provide water when asked, and they do monitor how long each customer waits. Food wise, they are just okay. Presentation is great, but taste wise is just okay. You come here for the unique interior design, so just keep your expectations on food at a minimum.

The place was very aesthetic. It was breezy and clean. You order via an ipad, which becomes hard especially if you have a large group.Food was good. Nothing spectacular or mind blowing, but just good. I really liked the ambiance and they do allow you to slide down their wooden slide.

We visited the restaurant during the day, so there were quite a lot of vacant seats. I liked all the dishes we ordered, especially the rolls - I definitely recommend trying them. Let me start off by saying my experience here was great if you aren’t considering the food.The atmosphere is amazing (great place to meet friends), but the food was subpar. The crab cakes that we ordered tasted more like a scoop of mayonnaise than anything else. I also order the flaming fish (which was amazing to watch), but as far as the fish it was okay. Maybe not worth the price. The Beer Margarita was great though.We also got nachos and I went back the next day to try the burger. The burger pattie (maybe in Philippines in general) has a ferry interesting tasting. Kind of fishy. It might be the seasoning they use (maybe too much Adobo… I am Puerto Rican we love adobo but and yes there’s a thing called too much Adobo haha).Chocolate cake was delicious thoygh.I would say this place is great for dessert and drinks but not for the dinner.

One of the best dinners I’ve had in my life. The food was amazing. I had the tomahawk steak, calamar rings, chocolate cake, mango beer cocktails. Everything really good but the tomahawk and the cocktail are something else 😍

Our second visit to this restaurant in a month and nothing much has changed.The waiting for a table system appears chaotic and standing in the street is not really acceptable.We were a party of 6 and managed to get a table within 30 minutes.The menu is difficult to read for some as the tablet used is quite small and the variety of food is quite limited.Having ordered our food and drinks we did not have to wait long for things to be served, however....Items are listed on the menu as starters and mains, we all ordered one of each. The kitchen obviously does not have any system for timing between courses. The starters and mains were served all mixed up and just kept coming together so basically all our food was sitting on the table going cold and we felt rushed to consume it.Crab tacos were quite good.The beef burger was bland and quite tasteless.The fries were frozen rubbish and not cooked properly.The sizzling beef in black pepper was tough and the vegetables uncooked.Chicken burger was a greasy mess.For a restaurant that on average costs of 1000 php per head it is pretty poor.Add in the fact that stray dogs are roaming the lower floor and it becomes very second rate.Although the menu and layout remains interesting, in reality it has become a 'conveyor belt' type of place. They want you in and out as quickly as possible and basically throw the food at you to achieve it.Never again.

If you’re looking for a new place to stay after your whole day of travel and exploring the island, this place is a must. The food is excellent with very friendly people and staff who are very welcoming to the guests. Come early if you want to secure a spot since it gets crowded in the afternoons

I think this is under the same management as Mosa so I'm not surprised at all that we enjoyed dining here. Each dish is a unique one and the serving time is reasonable. The best thing I liked in this restaurant is the structure itself. They allocated budget to design the place and there's a lot of different tables/chairs you can choose from. It's a 3-level structure so their capacity is really huge. I recommend eating here for early lunch so it's less busy. I hope they maintain a good quality of service. Looking forward to coming back!

A lovely 2 story open plan building creatively decorated. There are several areas to choose from with variations of seating arrangements. The menu is extensive but there is not one vegetable dish!I ordered the Pasta with seafood and black ink. The pasta was good but the scallop on top was still cold - uncooked!

Mist is an easy 5 star experience, not only does this place look amazing and will make your friends/family jealous on instagram, but the food really does hold up well.Would recommend the surf and turf, crab tacos, pork mix(?). But everything else like the lasagna and chicken wings were good too, the Garlic Rice was also pretty goodNo complaints here and would come back again, I would just recommend going early.. because this place gets PACKED, and for good reason

The ambiance and service is great but the food simply lacked taste. We had to add a copious amount of salt, pepper, hot sauce and soy sauce to our food just to be able to enjoy them. The entire experience was designed to be as aesthetic as possible, I just wish the taste was up to par. Lines are usually very long but we managed to arrive around 6pm just a few minutes before their dinner rush. I really don't understand why people recommend this place outside of the ambiance.

Good place with parking, a lot of customers, and a nice view. However, if you need to order food and drinks, it should be done at the same time because it seems like the staff doesn't understand the menu very well, and there is no information provided when the order arrives, especially if you are going as a big group. Overall, it is a good place that is worth visiting.

Food is okay.. I ordered lasagna a little bit dry to my liking and needs more cheese/sauce and salt Big serving though. My companions ordered seafood stir fry noodles, chicken and beef burger, strawberry yogurt smoothies, mango milk tea, passion fruit & lemon and mango & lemon juice. The juice is a little bit low on sugar, the strawberry yogurt was good the mango milktea is okay. We were looking forward for the pork platter but sadly it was no longer available..

Tasty food, Very bad overall experience!!!To sum up: Big place and not enough staff nor kitchen…We ordered two starters,drinks and two main dishes. We got the drinks, two starters and everything was tasty. Then my friend got his main dish and 20 mins passed by and I didn’t get mine. I ask for the bill and canceled my order, the order comes right after and the waiter apologized that the kitchen is busy! I was already upset and we cancelled the order and asked for the bill.10 minutes till they get the bill, after that we waited 15 minutes for the change (500p) and we went to the waiter who told us that the cashier was so busy and he couldn’t leave there and get us the rest! So we could have waited GOD knows how long before he’d come up…Not sure if it we were just not lucky or it is the case often there!! I’d say the place is so big, and they don’t have enough staff for it (looks like other reviews agree)Such a shame cause the food was actually good 🤷🏻‍♂️

One of my friends recommended this place on our Bohol trip and I was not disappointed at all, even though I had high expectationsThe food was really good, especially the crab tacos, which is my personal recommendation. Its a messy meal but its worth it. The drinks were really good and the food was quite filling even though at first I was skeptical. We even had to bring home some of the food because we couldnt finish it. Of course the price range is much higher than your run of the mill restaurant. Its up to you whether you feel its worth it and want to try this dining experience.The atmosphere is great because eating at different parts of the restaurant will give you different vibes. There is an area that looks like a board of trustees will eat there, a cozy family lounge, and simpler cushioned chairs and tables for a quicker meal. Its a beuayifully furnished restaurant with a treehouse/jungle feel.Also there are actually plenty of service staff around to help cater to guests and their alert and responsive. Even when we were trying to decide where to be seated, they were helpful in guiding us and even cleaning up the previous tables right away as we were waiting for others to arrive.

We went for a vacation to Bohol and searched for a restaurant. So we found on Social Media Mist and went over there for dinner. We had the best experience there, the food is awesome, the service very kind and helpful and the atmosphere is just perfect. Of course at the first sight it’s a little bit more expensive but it’s worth it for what you get.I would recommend mist for everyone who wants to have a nice dinner in Bohol.

Great place to test your culinary taste buds.This place is a must visit. Three story complex, with an excellent atmosphere, with lots of green planting indoors. That creates a cool place to dine on a hot Philippinio day.The menu wasn't too extensive. All meals came out beautifully decorated, and to my taste, didn't require any other condiments.The service was excellent from entering the restaurant. I was impressed with how quickly the meals still came out for service.Great job all around, thank you.

I don't recommend their beef burger. the patty tasted like 90% filler, barely any beef flavor. 1/10 for the patty, but the fries were okay. Having had real beef patties in Dumaguete, I can tell the difference.

Based on my experience after visiting this place for 5 times the issues of the quality of the food is still the same. We ordered the beef 2 orders the portion is generous but it’s too sweet for our liking. Ordered the seafood treasure the shrimp has a weird texture it’s not FRESH . Please do better next time because you have a beautiful place it’s so nice and relaxing .

But at least they offer it unlike most restaurants who'd let you wait for long.Cons:1. Not in the main hub, so you'd have to pay expensive tuktuk just to get there.2. MIST is beautiful. The design is nice. Good place for photography. It is good place to enjoy the sunset but the top floor will only be available after 6pm. If you would like to come early to sit in the top floors, it is not ok. After you sit in 2nd before 1800, you are not allowed to change to top floor. It is also understandable.The food is not very good as the interest said.A little bit over cook of the fishes.The menus may change regularly, it sounds great to the customers.

Very bad service.Have to wait ask for seat and staff ignoring and have to stand there and ask again for the seat.The staff just drop an expensive big seafood platter that we order on table and walk away without give you any dish or spoon and folk.The mango shake tastes good. The pulled pork and prawn tacos stood out with more pronounced and interesting taste profiles.The pork ribs were a disappointment. The meat struggled to separate from the bone and was a little dry. Even the sweet barbecue sauce couldn't salvage the lack of rich meaty flavor.The dumplings with meat, encased in black dough, were a culinary disaster. Spent my 23rd birthday here ❤️ It was actually our first time at Mist, we came a long way to try this restaurant and it did not disappoint! Food was great and looks so appetizing! 🤤 Loved the atmosphere, showcasing nature with their exteriors 🍃 Service was good too! Will probably be back to visit them again soon 🤭

Such a beautiful and serene place - definitely IG worthy! The staffs were very welcoming, attentive, and prompt, especially with refilling our cups with water! And the food…. Delicious! We ordered multiple items to make sure the flavors/taste were consistent. If there’s a downside, on the “meat platter,” pls tone down on the mustard - it was quite overpowering.

Food: everything was good except for the beef (chewy) on the fried noodles. I ordered a cocktail but they said they cannot serve alcohol which was confusing because there was a full bar. Also ordered a smoothie, was told they only could serve juice and sodas, but saw the table next to us got someService: took 20 minutes to get greeted even though it was low traffic time and multiple tables open. Also asked for condiments 2 times and never got it. Overall good spot but there’s room for improvement on the service level.

The Mist has always been my Bohol favourite. I have been here three times. I love that they have places to loiter and goof around and an air-conditioned corner for people who would prefer not to be exposed to open air or heat on different times of the day. The staff is very friendly too and I love that we can pay via card. Anyhowwww, according to my Swiss best-friend: “It was the best Pumpkin Soup he ever had.”
